Latresse Thornton

Latresse is the owner, president and leader of our team of coordinators and designers. Her vision and experience have helped to make this company what it is today as it continues to expand and grow. She resides in New York and has been involved in event planning for as long as she can remember. Refining a background in Information Technology and alumni of St. John's University. Latresse emerged as a businesswoman with a gift for dramatic styling and, after helping numerous friends and family members plan their weddings, she opened her first event design firm located on 5th Avenue in New York City which is now LMT Paperie Designs and Event Coordinators "LMT DESIGNS". LMT Designs has recently acquired a DC based satellite office. Today she is an event scholar, designing events, invitations, floral designs and weddings the same way a Broadway producer approaches a play — she makes sure that the stars shine and the audience/guests always go home wanting more.

As President and event coordinator of, LMT DESIGNS, Inc. I started this company because I love to party and be creative! Well, more specifically, I love seeing clients and guests truly enjoying themselves at any event. All too often, the host is so busy running around like a mad person, trying to get everything exactly right, that they miss the party all together. Having fun shouldn’t be so much work!

Our team of coordinators and assistants will take that burden off your shoulders so you can actually enjoy your events, and maybe even enjoy the event planning process (heaven forbid!). Josiah Heyward

Josiah Heyward is our newest addition to the LMT Designs, Inc. team. With a strong background in public relations and owner of J.Dot Public Relations. Josiah brings us his smart, fast-learning and upbeat personality. He is definitely noted as a "people person" and excels when establishing new relations with clients as well as networking with past clients. Josiah holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Communications from the Univ. of Maryland at College Park and will certainly put his communications skills to use at LMT Designs. Josiah works closely with me on all events and is also Latresse's personal assistant and is also the supervisor of production.

Opal Jacinth

Opal brings a fresh, young, cutting-edge attitude to LMT Designs. Opal has a keen eye for style as well as an extensive background in catering and special event rentals. With her forte in visual and costume design and impeccable client relations, Opal brings her up beat personality, go getting attitude and customer service skills to LMT Designs, Inc. Opal is imperative in handling the day to day operations of the company as well as management of the event day & design of the setup.

Nazim Kazimov

Nazim (Naz) is our youngest designer for LMT Designs, he is a full time college student and majors in Hotel management. He focuses only on custom stationery designs. Naz has been with LMT Designs since he entered high school and has a natural love from day one. He is Latresse's right hand when they design your outstanding and flawless custom stationery, you know that each invite has touched one of there hands.
